Control system for Cibes Lift AB
Cibes Lift AB is Europe’s leading manufacturer of screw-driven platform lifts with shafts. The company’s business concept is to manufacture unique products in the field of platform lifts. The main target groups are foreign distributors and Swedish construction companies.
Research Electronics has helped Cibes develop its own, flexible control system. Instead of using a standard PLC system, special electronics from Research Electronics have made the new system more adapted to the customer’s unique requirements. Production has been simplified and Cibes saves on cable and connections.
Our cooperation with Research Electronics has been incredibly good over the years. They have always been ready to help us when we needed it and they are always easy to get hold of. The new control system that they helped us develop still feels modern today, even though it is ten years old.
